    Other Names for RU-486: Mifeprez, Early Option, Cytotec,
    or the generic name of Misoprostol
    What are the common side affects of taking RU-486?
       Bleeding, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache,
       dizziness, back pain, and tiredness.

    Fact: about 5-8 out of 100 women taking Mifeprex will need

    a surgical procedure to end the pregnancy or to stop too

    much bleeding.

    China has banned the use of RU-486 citing the potential health

    risks to women.

    Canada has not yet approved of the use of RU-486 as an abortion pill.

    At least six recorded deaths have been linked to the use of RU-486

    in the U.S. and Europe. (number of recorded deaths in developing

    countries is unknown)
